Lockdown Recovery

It has been 18 months since I got so frustrated with my knee that I basically gave up running. During the lockdown I have been working in my basement and staring at my old medals and memorabilia. That was enough to push me to try and get going again. I am now 5 weeks into a routine of running short distances (5k) very slowly and doing lots of knee strengthening exercises in between. It's a slow and frustrating process but fingers crossed its going ok and hopefully an autumn half marathon could be on the cards....
