Malibu Half Marathon: 1hr 45mins 00secs

What an awesome event in terms of the scenery. 13.1miles along the PCH with unhindered views of the Ocean. I also managed to rope in a few other course participants (Mark Tidy, Helene Westerlind and Chris Stanek).

All sounded idyllic but the weather was brutal - severe winds strong enough to blow over the porta loos, whipped the area into a sandstorm and coupled with the hills it was a tough morning. Having said that, there is something very special and unique about runnning alongside the Ocean and the medal is very cool as well....

Especially proud of Helene, who we pressured in to it but set a new PB.
