Wilmslow Half Marathon: 1hr 43mins 46secs

A bitterly cold day in Manchester at just above zero with a biting wind. It snowed all across the UK except Wilmslow seemed to be in its own micro climate - not a drop of the white stuff.

Given such little training and everyone else I knew doing it dropping out (Phil G, Dom etc), I was hoping for snow and s cancellation. No such luck.

A baltic day but I love the route - my favourite half I think.

Having only run 60 miles in total since Christmas, I had no idea what to expect and was surprised I comfortably made it round in a steady 1:43:46
